Under the influence of the incoming Seventh Ray we have the potential to focus increasingly on intergroup collaboration based on goodwill. In anticipation of this development, Roberto Assagioli wrote in the 1970s:

All human individuals and groups of all kinds should be regarded as elements, cells or organs (that is, living parts) of a greater organism that includes the whole of humanity. Thus the principle of, and the trend to, synthesis carries us from group to group in ever wider circles to humanity as an integral whole. The essential unity of origin, of nature and of aims, and the unbreakable interdependence and solidarity between all human beings and groups are a spiritual, psychological and practical reality… In spite of all contrasts, all oppositions and all negative appearances, the principle of interdependence, of solidarity, of cooperation, of friendship – that is, of synthesis – is rapidly gaining recognition. An increasing number of men and women are animated by the will to implement it, and are actively working within different groups and in all fields, outwardly unorganized but inwardly closely connected by common dedication to the same purpose. (Psychosynthesis: Individual and Social)

Going a step further, we can acknowledge a “greater organism” beyond humanity – that of the One Life. In reaching out to other esoteric groups in collaboration, we can jointly benefit from an additional outflow of spiritual energy and consequent ability to implement the Plan that comes with the synergy of coordination and collaboration.

When we speak of collaboration, we mean joint concrete projects that move beyond the joint meditation initiatives now in place, keeping in mind the Tibetan’s admonishment to move beyond invocation to “tangible deed”:

If the “massed intent” of the people of goodwill is brought down from the mental plane (where most goodwill, desire, prayer and invocation becomes “frozen”) and is carried away from its easy focus in the wish life of the aspirant, goodwill becomes active in expression and in tangible deed upon the physical plane, so that the work done through the means of invocation and prayer, plus the needed fighting for the right, is done by those who can truly coordinate and integrate on all three levels and thus function as a whole. (EXT:280)

In this spirit, the School wishes to engage with other groups to precipitate the energies available from the Spiritual Hierarchy on the mental plan into expressions of goodwill on Earth as the Tibetan underscored in reference to the use of the Great Invocation:

Unless those who can use this Invocation parallel its voiced expression with some form of definite physical plane service, and so aid constructively the Forces of Light, their efforts will prove negligible. It is humanity alone that can precipitate the new incoming energies from the Lords of Liberation and make possible Their activity on Earth… The stupendous inner Potencies can reach certain levels of human activity and contact, such as the mental plane, but their further progress downward into outer expression, power and manifestation, is dependent upon the potent, magnetic, indrawing power of humanity itself. (EXT:279-280)
